DOG TRAINING PACK WALK (FREE)

This structured pack walk is open to the public and centers on calm, neutral socialization while moving together with clear spacing and direction. It suits dogs working through reactivity or overstimulation, handlers who want stronger leash skills and engagement, and anyone who enjoys being around fellow dog owners. The group walks as a unit with dogs intentionally kept apart. There are no on-leash meet and greets or chaotic interactions, only steady, coordinated movement. Participants are expected to keep dogs leashed at all times, avoid on-leash greetings, maintain space between teams, and use non-retractable leashes. Limit participation to one dog per handler. Dogs must be current on rabies, Bordetella, and distemper vaccinations. Bring a standard 4 to 6 foot leash, the training tools you normally use, and water for yourself and your dog. If your dog struggles at times, that is acceptable. The walk provides a supportive setting to practice rather than avoid challenging moments. RSVP is required. Questions can be asked in the group.

Lesering Book Club - The Saga of Gösta Berling By Selma Lagerlöfr

The Lesering Book Club focuses on The Saga of Gösta Berling by Selma Lagerlöf, a landmark Swedish epic from the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. Recently offered in the first new English translation in more than a century, the novel takes place in 1820s Sweden and follows a former minister whose drinking and past mistakes end his vocation. He finds refuge at Ekeby, the ironworks estate of Margareta Celsing, the Majoress, home to colorful veterans of the Napoleonic Wars. His rebellious, lyrical spirit captivates several women as intrigue unfolds at the estate against the wintry backdrop of rural Sweden. The story also inspired a 1924 silent film that helped launch Greta Garbo’s career.

Jennifer Lyn & The Groove Revival - Electric Eden: TAK Music Venue - Dilworth, MN

At TAK Music Venue, Jennifer Lyn & The Groove Revival present Electric Eden, a vivid concert experience where the pulse of classic rock meets the soul of modern blues. The night doubles as a celebration of the band’s live album of the same name, a project sparked by the intense connection they forged with audiences on their 2025 tour and now brought back to the stage with renewed fire. The set blends the group’s own blues-rock with fresh interpretations of favorites by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. Expect guitar-forward arrangements, emotive vocals, and the spark of dual-guitar interplay, all delivered with authenticity and groove. The band’s momentum is backed by notable milestones that include recognition on the first round GRAMMY ballot for Contemporary Blues, a No. 4 peak on Billboard’s Top U.S. Blues Albums, a No. 1 on the Roots Music Report Blues Rock chart, seven Independent Blues Music Award nominations, an International Songwriting Award finalist honor, and Top 20 blues radio placements in the UK and Australia. Fans frequently highlight the group’s onstage power, praising the vocals, guitars, keys, and drums for their precision and impact, with many calling the show a standout live music experience.
