Stemless Wine Glasses & Cups
Explore the art of blown glass in a hands-on session at Lincoln Hot Glass with studio owner and veteran glass artist Marc Kornbluh. Work at the glass furnace to shape your own stemless wine glass or cup while a small group of up to four participants collaborates to make one glass. The class lasts about 45 minutes and centers on learning through doing. Closed-toed shoes and non-synthetic clothing are required. A water cooler is available, so bring your own bottle. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of class to receive a full refund.
Lincoln Hot GlassKris Lager Band
Kris Lager, a Nebraska native now based in Omaha, brings his band to The Zoo Bar with a heartfelt, cross-genre sound shaped by years of traveling the country. His shows center on connection and positivity, turning the room into a shared celebration with dancing, handclaps, and vibrant stage energy. Expect rootsy grooves and candid, emotionally charged lyrics that draw the audience in. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketweb, at The Zoo Bar, or at the door.

Recent work pairs towering melodies with uncompromising intensity. Tickets are $35 for advance general admission and $40 for day-of general admission, both without seating. Accessibility accommodations can be requested through the venue’s contact page or by messaging on social media.
Bourbon TheatreBuddy Check
Buddy Check began as an informal way for veterans to look out for one another during the shift to civilian life and continues with a focus on mental health and suicide prevention. It brings together active-duty service members, veterans, and their significant others to connect with peers, share challenges, and receive support. Conversations also make room for celebrating positive moments, keeping the atmosphere balanced in a smaller, quieter setting. The gathering takes place in the Enclosed Shelter at Antelope Park, a climate-controlled building near the entrance to the Veterans Memorial Garden behind the Auld Pavilion. Admission is free.
