Spend time outdoors caring for the Greenway with a hands-on cleanup focused on removing litter, freeing trees from invasive plants, and planting native species when possible. Some tools will be available, and participants are welcome to bring gloves, loppers, or clippers. Friends of the Greenway can provide verification of volunteer hours upon request. Street parking is available, and there is also a nearby parking lot.

Memorial Park hosts a free outdoor concert featuring the KoverUp Band. Bring friends and family, pack a lawn chair and your dancing flip flops, and plan to arrive early since the space fills quickly.

At this GSBC Summer Meeting, gather in the Ridgewood Public Library Craft Room for an informal, interactive show and tell centered on family history. Attendees are invited to share photographs, documents, heirlooms, letters, keepsakes, and recent genealogical discoveries, describing the memories or research that make them meaningful. Stories might feature a newly identified ancestor, an unexpected record, or a treasured object with a special past. The program offers a welcoming setting to connect personal histories with the broader genealogy community through storytelling and discovery. Please plan remarks to about three minutes so everyone has time to participate. Free and open to the public, with a replay available to GSBC members.

Mahwah Health Department, the Village of Ridgewood Health Department, and Valley Health System are collaborating to offer free child health clinics for uninsured children. Appointments are required.
