A new BNI chapter is coming together in Beachwood, giving local business owners and professionals the chance to help build it from the start as founding members. The format is entirely in person, and it is free to attend as a visitor to learn how the group works. The chapter centers on referral marketing with a give first approach, turning shared opportunities into measurable results. Early participants can shape the culture, secure a founding seat, and develop trusted relationships that expand reputation and reach, leading to a steady flow of quality referrals and consistent business growth. The program also includes a safeguard. Follow the system, and if the investment is not earned back, the second year is provided at no cost.

Hanover Creative presents a group exhibition that examines neijuan, a widely used Chinese sociological term describing how relentless effort can still yield shrinking opportunities, rising pressure, and a feeling of being stuck despite hard work. Through varied perspectives, the artists consider what it means to pursue advancement when rewards diminish and the goal seems just out of reach. Participating artists include Hanna-Mae Greenfield, Mary Henderson, Marcè Nixon-Washington, and Jessi Olarsch. Off street parking is available.

The Hearts in Harmony benefit concert presents an evening of music in support of Saint Ann School. Hosted at the Church of Saint Ann, it brings families and friends together to celebrate community and help advance the school's mission. Tickets are $20.

A weekend baseball tournament brings together 12U travel and community programs from Mercer County and neighboring areas for competitive fall play. Across two days, teams open with pool play and then move into a championship bracket, with at least three games guaranteed. USA or USSSA bats are permitted, and no new inning begins after 1:45. Champions receive a team trophy and championship shirts. Entry is $795 per team. The lineup focuses on local programs, and spots are limited.

Advanced Postural Energetics offers an in-depth training that refines how practitioners perceive the body’s signals, release patterns, and pathways to realignment. Through attentive observation and precise postural adjustments, participants learn to notice the body’s natural unwinding patterns that reveal areas of tension and the ways the system seeks to reestablish balance. This rhythmic, responsive process is described as the body’s healing dance, where small shifts can bring meaningful change. The focus is not on doing more, but on seeing and feeling more, then responding with clarity and intention. Participants explore how to identify subtle postural patterns, how minor adjustments can lead to significant physical release, and how posture relates to connective tissue balance. The training builds confidence in making intuitive, effective adjustments while supporting the body’s inherent unwinding process. This course is intended for those who have completed Kinetic Chain Release Foundation Level 1 and Introduction to Connective Tissue. It is well suited for practitioners who want to deepen their work and sharpen their awareness. Accreditation includes 14 CEUs through NCBTMB. Many students consider this training a pivotal moment in expanding their understanding of the body’s own healing intelligence.
