He began shaping his musical voice early in life and now blends R&B, Americana, and funk within the blues. His influences span Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, John Mayer, D’Angelo, Bob Dylan, John Prine, The Band, Chris Stapleton, Bill Withers, and Roberta Flack. The music centers on a sound that is distinctly American, guided by that broad lineage.
