Addison’s disease is a lifelong form of primary adrenal insufficiency that requires steroid treatment for life and can be life threatening, and many clinicians rarely encounter it, which can lead to delayed or missed diagnosis. Reported prevalence has risen to an estimated 100 to 140 people per million. Funds raised are directed solely to awareness efforts, with the goal of improving understanding, speeding treatment, building resources and community, and ultimately saving lives. Participants include Marilyn Pardo, Jenn Albert, Karen Kellers, and other local performers who have volunteered their music in support of charitable causes.

At The Paramount in Concert with Northwell, this event marks 40 years of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth with a concert experience that pairs the cult classic on a high-definition screen with live musicians performing the entire score in perfect sync with David Bowie’s original vocals. Signature moments like Magic Dance and the music by Bowie and Trevor Jones are brought to life as the film plays. After a worldwide run that reached nearly 100 cities, the production continues with more than 60 North American stops for an evening filled with fantasy and nostalgia.
