    New York Brain Tumor Walk

    The New York brain tumor community will gather for a family-friendly walk that raises awareness and funds to support patients and their families. The day centers on celebration, remembrance, and hope. Registration includes options for adults and for youth ages 12 and under, with fees that increase as the event nears and again during event week. In-person participants who register by the stated deadline receive an event t-shirt, while availability is limited for later signups. A free virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person, and qualifying virtual participants who raise at least $75 by the deadline will have a shirt mailed to them. On-site check-in and t-shirt pickup will be available along with mission-focused activities, and contactless registration will be offered for anyone who misses online registration. The schedule features a remembrance gathering at Zach’s Bay beach, an opening ceremony, and the walk itself. The route covers about 3 miles. The event takes place rain or shine, on-site parking is available, and light refreshments will be provided. Be sure to explore the activity tents and sponsor areas during the event.
