Blues Brunch at RationAles features a patio set by the Jony James Band as part of the venue’s live music series. Admission is free. He started touring at 17 and built his reputation through school dances, church talent shows, and repeat appearances at the Regal Theatre, followed by notable club gigs at spots like Burning Spear, Teresa’s, Wise Fools, Ma B’s, and Buddy Guy’s Checkerboard Lounge. A sit-in with the Fabulous Thunderbirds in the early 1970s led to collaborations with harmonica player Shakin Smith and a move back to Buffalo. After years performing across the U.S. and Canada, he formed The Jony James Band in the early 1990s, toured the East and Southeast, released two albums with Blue Wave Records, produced five independent recordings, and earned induction into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.

An evening celebrating LIDO: Recipes and Stories from Italy’s Beach Clubs features a seated four-course dinner at DiTondo, presented in partnership with DiTondo. Guests are welcomed with a spritz and live music, and each person receives a copy of LIDO. The book showcases the culture, history, and flavors of Italian beach clubs, with one section journeying along the country’s coastline and another offering more than 60 recipes from aperitivi to desserts, including dishes such as Pinsa with ricotta and mortadella, lobster risotto, Puglian brushette with marinated summer squash, and pavlova with fior di latte cream. No substitutions or modifications will be accommodated. Vegetarian options will be available. Ticket pricing does not include beverages, applicable sales tax, or a 20 percent service charge. DiTondo is a fourth-generation family restaurant founded by Sebastiano Di Tondo, who immigrated from Abruzzo, Italy, and established his own Italian eatery in the 1930s. In 2019, his great-granddaughter, Rita Di Tondo, and her husband, Fabio Consonni, took the helm. The restaurant reopened in 2021 after a kitchen upgrade and a restoration that honored the building’s historic character.

An easygoing sunset voyage aboard the Grand Lady pairs scenic views and time on the water with a fundraiser for animals. A share of every ticket and 15 percent of onboard bar sales benefits Against All Oddz Animal Alliance, helping provide food, supplies, shelter, and medical care. Music, a cash bar, basket raffles, and a 50/50 raffle add to the experience, and guests can relax with a cocktail while the sun dips below the horizon.

The Caz Supper Club hosts OsbornNash, an acoustic duo rooted in Western New York and Nashville, Tennessee. Their set mixes original songs and familiar covers, unfolding as a lively conversation with the audience. The pair has shared stages with Wynonna Judd and The Big Noise, Billy Currington with LOCASH, Canaan Smith and Russel Dickerson, as well as Easton Corbin and Craig Morgan. In 2022 they were named the WYRK Taste of Country Riser and were invited to open for Tim McGraw alongside Billy Currington, Walker Hayes and Thompson Square at the Taste of Country Concert at Sahlen Field in Buffalo. Dinner service begins when the doors open, and the music follows shortly after.

Experience live music with T-PAC Jack and the Underground, featuring Jack Civiletto, Micky Judware, Bob Ambrusko and Brent C. Minet. A special guest joins the band for an additional set, and this edition highlights George Litz. The program starts with Jack and the Underground, continues with a collaboration between the guest and Jack, and concludes with a pro jam led by Donna Rose. Musicians who wish to participate should check in with stage manager Donna Rose. Appetizers, dinner, desserts and drinks are available, and dancing is encouraged. A weekly music night in Buffalo pairs an open mic with karaoke at Peppers. Each week, a different featured artist hosts, performs, and selects a limited number of open mic slots. Signups take place before the open mic, and spots are limited. After the performances, the night shifts into karaoke that runs late. A full bar serves cocktails throughout the evening, and a late night menu is available.

The buffet features house salad and rolls, a chef’s choice of vegetable and potato such as garlic mashed or oven roasted varieties, a vegetarian pasta option like baked ziti or mac and cheese, herb roasted chicken quarters, and braised roast of beef. Coffee, tea, and water are included, and dessert brings a sweet finish with assorted cookies and brownies. Additional beverages are available for purchase from the full bar. Pricing is $84 per adult, $42 per child ages 4 to 12, and $15 per toddler age 3 and under, plus taxes and booking fees.

The Music on Main season finale features a patio performance at RationAles by NERDS GONE WILD in their NERDS GONE MILD trio format. Western New York’s award winning party band delivers a mix of New Wave, classic 80s hits, and other retro tunes. The trio includes vocalist and guitarist Milton Wild (Ed Wyner), keyboardist Irwin (Brian Beaudry), and drummer Eugene (Eddy Tabone). Old Falls Street USA hosts a Labor Day Weekend street festival with food trucks, live music, entertainment, and vendors.
