The Business Improvement District, in partnership with the City of Middletown, presents a weekly farmers market at Erie Way Park. Browse the pavilion for fresh produce and herbs, homemade beauty and bath items, candles, and a selection of local snacks and treats.

Volunteer Day at AOOA Farm offers hands-on help on a silvopasture regenerative farm. There is always meaningful work to do in the market garden and fields, with volunteers working alongside community members. Depending on the season, tasks can include planting, preparing and maintaining beds, harvesting, and other field work. Participation is limited to ages 16 and up. Volunteers ages 16 to 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Because AOOA is a working farm, wear weather-appropriate outdoor clothing such as a hat, sunglasses, layers or rain gear as needed, along with gloves and closed-toed shoes. Pack a reusable water bottle.

The 2nd Annual Corn-Holy Tournament brings teams of two to St. Joseph’s Church Hall for an indoor day of cornhole competition hosted by the Mamakating Knights of Columbus Council #14560. Entry is limited to 50 teams, accommodating up to 100 players. Expect cash prizes with multiple ways to win beyond first place, plus a 50/50 raffle, a concession stand, and skill toss events for additional cash. All proceeds support local charities and community causes. The tournament is professionally run by Rabid Bag Slayers Cornhole. Team entry is $80 when registration and payment are completed by the posted deadline. After the deadline or with day-of registration, the fee is $100 per team. A team of ten sound healers gathers in a meadow in Warwick for a community sound immersion aligned with the full moon and the equinox. There is no stage, and practitioners form a circle around participants so live vibrations arrive from every direction as daylight fades and the moon rises. Crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and other sacred acoustic instruments blend into an enveloping soundscape, with many hands and many voices shaping one shared field of tone. Attendance is intentionally limited to keep the circle intimate, and the focus is on resting at the heart of the meadow while the collective holds the space with music.

Pink Floyd USA Experience takes the stage with a set celebrating music from Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. Hear songs from these landmark albums performed live.

The 44th annual Roosa Gap Roller Coaster Runs features an 11.8 mile challenge and a 5K run or walk in Wurtsboro, New York. Hosted at the Mamakating First Aid and Rescue Squad, the 11.8 mile course starts at the squad building, climbs toward Bloomingburg, navigates the hairpin, turns left onto Shawanga Lodge Road, heads toward the fire tower, then retraces the same route back to the finish. Because of ongoing drainage issues, the long run will use the modified road course that has been in place for the past few years rather than the former trail route, with safety as the priority. The 5K offers a flat and picturesque route along the historic D&H Canal Tow Path and follows an out and back format. Proceeds support the PFC Jerry B. Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund, honoring the community’s history while helping future scholars.

AOOA Farm hosts a family friendly seasonal brunch built around fresh, locally grown ingredients prepared with care. Each gathering offers a fixed menu that showcases peak seasonal flavors, served in a welcoming farm setting. The meal is prix fixe, and reservations are required. Repairs will be attempted at St. Peter’s in the basement. The space is fully accessible through the street level door. If an item can fit through that door, it will be considered for repair.

No Direction performs live at the Fall Foliage Festival, a free street fair with a family-friendly atmosphere. The festival features more than 175 vendors, classic cars, a variety of food, activities, and live entertainment.
