An immersive gathering honoring the Lion’s Gate focuses on blessings and abundance through ceremonial cacao, sacred tobacco Hapé, and a sound journey. This three hour ceremony invites reflection on gratitude, courage, and the light of the heart, weaving prayer, meditation, sacred medicines, and intentional ritual to support transformation, connection, and remembrance. Participants may share heart opening cacao, and those who feel called can receive an optional, respectfully offered Hapé to encourage clarity, grounding, and intention. Guided meditations draw on the symbolism of the Lion’s Gate, the radiant sun, and the story of Isis, a thread of healing, devotion, resilience, and bringing what has been scattered back into wholeness. Reflection and intention practices highlight the blessings already present and the abundance ready to be cultivated. A 20 minute immersive sound journey with crystal singing bowls, gong, drums, chimes, voice, and other sacred instruments supports deep relaxation, integration, and inner renewal. The circle also co creates a collective blessing inspired by reciprocity, adding flowers, seeds, herbs, and written blessings to weave a shared expression of gratitude, hope, and abundance. This experience points inward rather than outward, inviting open hearts, honoring blessings, releasing what no longer serves, and stepping forward with trust, gratitude, and intention. It welcomes those seeking clarity, healing, inspiration, connection, or simply a peaceful space to reconnect with self. Attendees are encouraged to bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing, and a journal if desired, along with an open heart. Mats, blankets, bolsters, and pillows are provided for comfort. Weeklong STEM and gaming camps at ELITE Gaming Arena blend esports play with hands-on technology learning in a lively, supportive setting. Campers compete individually and in teams, then dive into STEM through activities such as LEGO robotics, drone technology, and media production. ELITE camp staff lead challenges that nurture creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while keeping the focus on fun. Two one-week sessions are offered for students in grades 4 to 6 and 7 to 9. Tuition options include $250 for a single week or $400 for both weeks. Space is limited, and registration will secure a spot.

Designed for people whose schedules do not fit a standard 9 to 5, this practice focuses on helping you feel stronger, deepen your connection to your body, and ignite creativity. Drawing from Tantra, it weaves movement, applied anatomy, and yoga philosophy into an accessible experience for all body types and abilities. Community is central. On the last Monday of each month, a guest artist, baker, or thrift pop up takes part, giving students time to browse, shop, and connect before and after class. It offers space to feel better, support your health, make it through the day, and build connection.

The 30th session of Syracuse Actors Studio focuses on theatre acting and will take place at The Palace Theatre. A previously planned tour at Syracuse Stage has been postponed. A panel of seasoned stage performers, Binaifer Dabu, Carolyn Chave, and Jay Merante, moderated by Donna Stuccio, will explore auditioning, rehearsal, performance, and how to take notes, with a live demonstration to bring the discussion to life. Performance segments are included, featuring scenes by Dave Spiro with Aaron Buitron, John Triana with Laura Stisser, and a piece directed by Paul Smith with Michael Benjamin and Wendy Volpe, plus a special appearance by Derek Potocki and his troupe. Solo work from Diane Bostick and Claudia Coonan rounds out the program. Three pairs of volunteers are invited to try an audition scene exercise following the panel and demonstration. Get ready for labor, birth, and the early days with a newborn in a welcoming, in-person classroom setting. These free sessions are recommended for pregnant patients who are 28 weeks or more, and partners or other support people are welcome. Registration is recommended but not required, and drop-ins are welcome. Participants may bring water and snacks. The program follows a four-part, monthly rotation. One class focuses on preparing for the final weeks of pregnancy, recognizing the start of labor, and what to expect upon arrival at the hospital. Another explores the birth process, comfort techniques, partner support, vaginal birth, and the first moments of recovery. A third session reviews common medical interventions, induction, and cesarean birth, with a tour of the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units. The final class centers on the transition after birth, newborn care, mood changes, and foundational breastfeeding guidance. The sequence runs during the first four Tuesdays of each month... if a month includes an extra Tuesday, there is no class that week, and the rotation restarts on the first Tuesday. Sessions take place at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in the L100A DeFuria Room. Attendees are encouraged to bring a support person and the spiral-bound education book provided by their OB office titled Your Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting.

TIFFY is an indie rock and soft punk project led by Asian American multi-instrumentalist and producer Tiffany Sammy, a California native now based in Somerville, Massachusetts. The project is known for a dreamy, fuzz-laced sound, hooky guitars, and relatable lyrics that explore creative burnout, anxiety, and modern life. The music gets rolling with Joey D spinning classic tracks to set the groove, then the opener takes the stage, and the headlining band closes the night. An unplugged performance from Sydney Irving comes to Petit Branch Library, Onondaga County Public Libraries. The up-and-coming pop rock singer and songwriter is known for heartfelt writing, a powerful voice, and melodies that linger, connecting with audiences nationwide. At 21, she signed with DEKO ENTERTAINMENT, distributed by Warner Music Group/ADA, secured worldwide management with Pilato Entertainment, and formed a new five-piece touring band of music professionals. Her debut album, Unfashioned Creatures, reflects that momentum, featuring songs she wrote or co-wrote, co-production and arrangements by Irving, and most of the guitar parts performed by her.

A round in the Nashville tradition at Pink Rock Culture Co-op features David Harrison, Trisha Markinson, Cait Devin, and Matty Trav. Suggested contribution is $10 to $20.
