    Last Saturday Chaos Draft

Port Ewen · POW Card Games & Comics, 175 US-9W

Settle in for a Magic The Gathering draft built around three packs per player. Everyone opens a pack, selects one card, then passes the remainder to the left while receiving a new pack from the right, continuing until all cards are chosen. The second pack is passed in the opposite direction, one pick at a time, and the process continues through all three packs. After drafting, players build a 40 card deck from their pool. Community lands are provided. Matches use a Swiss style format, and prizes go to the top two to four players. For this event, each participant chooses three play boosters from a variety on hand. Pack prices vary, so your buy in depends on the packs you select. The prize pool scales with attendance, with one pack per player added to prizing.

    Mindchurch: Halloween

New Paltz · The Lemon Squeeze , 107 Main St

Mindchurch transforms The Lemon Squeeze with a Halloween edition built around an immersive audio visual experience. Costumes are part of the experience, highlighted by the first Mindchurch Psychedelic Costume Contest awarding a first place prize of $100 in Mindchurch merch credit, with more details to be announced.
