Now in its fourth year, the FAM Cookout brings the community together at Buffalo River Fest Park to raise funds for WNY first responders and their families. The focus is gratitude and support for the men and women who protect the community every day. Attendees can enjoy basket raffles, a Family Fun Zone, the Ring It & Win It game, plenty of food and beverages, and live music from Cami Clune & The Fringe.

Western New York Blues Society presents a summertime Blues Cruise aboard the Miss Buffalo, pairing live music with Lake Ontario views. Departing from Buffalo Harbor Cruises, this floating concert features The Jony James Band with special guests Jack Civiletto and April Mazzone, creating a relaxed, lakeside atmosphere for longtime fans and first-time listeners alike. Each ticket includes a three-hour cruise, live blues throughout the trip, snacks and pizza, and access to a cash bar. General Admission is $48 with standard open seating, while VIP tickets are $60 and include preferred seating for a prime concert experience. This cruise is known to sell out each year, so tickets often go fast.

Experience a free concert that channels the music and style of The Beatles, with classic songs and period-inspired outfits that feel like a trip back to the height of Beatlemania. The performance takes place at the Cultural Center Stage/Mega Shelter at Cheektowaga Town Park.

Buffalo RiverWorks hosts a Sunset Sundays ’26 edition from MNM Presents, celebrating 21 years of house, breaks, techno, and more by the water as the sun goes down. Chromeo steps in for a DJ set with support from Miosi, Colin Patrick, and DJ Panda. The Montreal duo of Dave 1 and P-Thugg brings two decades of electrofunk credentials across six studio albums, known for analog synth textures, catchy hooks, and striking visuals. Their résumé includes repeat appearances at major festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo, a 150-date touring cycle in support of Adult Contemporary, and six sold-out nights performing Fancy Footwork from start to finish. Expect acclaimed talent, high-quality sound, and a landmark club night that has been part of the local scene longer than any other.

Buffalo Music Hall of Fame singer songwriter Maria Sebastian teams up with guitarist and vocalist Matt Pszonak as Wind & Wire, blending her originals with handpicked covers rooted in Americana, roots, and classic pop. Pedal steel player Brian Senefelder of Two Hills, returning to the stage after time away, connected with Sebastian following a recent John Prine tribute at Sportsmen's and joins this supper club performance as one of their first collaborations. Expect songs influenced by Kathleen Edwards, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Aimee Mann, Jason Isbell, and Lucinda Williams. Food and drinks are available from The Caz's a la carte menu.

Sotto Voce opera collective and the Avanti Orchestra bring Fidelio, Beethoven’s lone opera, to Asbury Hall for opening night. The story follows Leonore, who, determined to rescue her imprisoned husband, disguises herself as a boy named Fidelio to gain access to his captors and seize the moment to secure his freedom, even at considerable risk. This Sotto Voce production features singers from local, national, and international circles and spotlights bel canto vocal artistry, with Buffalo’s Avanti Orchestra bringing Beethoven’s orchestral writing to life. Two original short films by director Alex Huddleston accompany the opera’s two overtures and add context to the unfolding drama. The music is sung in German, the spoken dialogue is in English, and English subtitles are provided.

Blue Monday at T-PAC features T-PAC Jack and the Underground, with Jack Civiletto, Micky Judware, Bob Ambrusko, and Brent C. Minet, teamed with a rotating special guest. This edition highlights Rockin’ Robin. The evening opens with a set by Jack and the Underground, continues with a collaborative set led by the guest and Jack, and concludes with a pro jam hosted by stage manager Donna Rose. Musicians who wish to participate should check in with Donna Rose on arrival. Food and beverage service includes appetizers, dinner, desserts, and drinks, and dancing is encouraged. Funtime Presents brings The Mountain Goats to Town Ballroom for a live performance. Attendees must be at least 12 years old, with anyone under 16 accompanied by a parent. A government issued ID is required.

As part of a summer concert series, this dance-focused evening spotlights reggae and dub. OLMSTED DUB SYSTEM performs music by The Clash, joined by Critt's Juke Joint featuring BEÜ.

Pocketship fires up a future funk and disco dance party at the waterfront, blending classic grooves, shimmering disco, and modern electronic soul into a high-energy experience. Expect precision rhythms, rich vocal harmonies, and a celebration-first spirit that pairs musical craftsmanship with nonstop movement. This performance is part of the Sounds of Buffalo Summer Music Concert Series, co-presented by The Buffalo Music Club and the Buffalo Waterfront. The series unfolds at Buffalo’s Outer Harbor at Wilkeson Pointe, with each date highlighting a different act in the beer garden. Food and drinks are available from the newly opened Perro & Poni restaurant, and outside refreshments are not permitted. Admission is free and the event is welcoming for all ages.

BUR Fest brings an afternoon of live local music, basket raffles, 50/50 drawings and a headliner raffle, along with great food and drinks, all to benefit dogs helped by Buffalo Underdogs Rescue. Buffalo Iron Works hosts the event and will keep the kitchen and bar open, with the Bills preseason game showing on the TVs. Presale general admission tickets are available for $10, or $15 at the door. A Buffalo Underdog Superfan Presale Combo is offered for $30 and includes a general admission ticket and a limited edition BUR Fest T-shirt. To save time at check-in, attendees can pre-purchase basket raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets and headliner raffle entries, which will be ready upon arrival so the focus can stay on the music and festivities. Supporters who cannot be there in person can still participate by purchasing raffle tickets online, with volunteers placing entries into the drawings. The lineup features Karma Queen, an indie five-piece from Buffalo known for shimmering guitars, clever lyrics and catchy grooves, with members who each play multiple instruments. DoDriver brings high-energy rock built on head-bobbing rhythms, strong vocals and memorable songs, continuing the craftsmanship heard on the album Bound By The Sound. Trever Stribing of PA LINE offers folk-rooted storytelling drawn from personal experience and a close connection with listeners. Jagged Little Bills rounds out the bill as a tribute to Alanis Morissette and other 90s favorites. The Trash Pandas bring their sound to the patio at RationAles as part of the RationAles Live Music Series. This Buffalo trio, formed in late May 2024, features Jon Hoffman on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Brian DeMartinis on lead guitar, and Todd Doyle on cajon and vocals. They are known for strong harmonies and a setlist that ranges from timeless classics to well-loved hits. Presented in partnership with EWM Promotions and supported by Eric Houlahan State Farm Agency, this is a free event. RationAles complements the music with fresh food and local drinks.
