Quantities are based on household size, and to share resources widely the program asks households to limit visits to twice per month while donations remain limited. First-time visitors complete a brief intake form, and no proof of income is required. The program serves residents of Niagara County and the City of Tonawanda, and anyone who needs food will be assisted. Remember to bring reusable bags. Friendly volunteers are available to help select items, bag groceries, and carry them to your vehicle. The Hope Closet clothing program will also be open during this event, so both services can be visited in one trip. Meals of Hope is a community outreach program of The Gathering Place Project.

Registration is open for the sixth edition of the EA2EVL Fondo, a casual charitable ride welcoming cyclists of every ability. Riders set out from 42 North Brewing Company in East Aurora, head south along scenic Route 240 beside the Erie Cattaraugus Rail Trail from West Falls into Concord, and continue to Route 242 before turning west toward Ellicottville. The route features water stops and wraps up with a finish line celebration at Holiday Valley that is open to the public. An après bike gathering will follow with craft beer, food, vendors, and live music to be announced. Paid bus service is available to return participants to the starting point. Thanks to sponsors and rider fundraising, previous editions have generated more than $200,000 to help open, improve, and maintain the 27-mile ECRT between Orchard Park and Ashford.

Pauper Magic: The Gathering takes center stage in a constructed event with three rounds of Swiss. Entry is $5. Prize support rewards match wins, with three victories earning $10 in store credit and two wins earning $5, plus a chance at a random FNM Magic promo while supplies last. Deck construction follows Pauper rules. Only cards that have been printed at common rarity in a Magic set or product are legal, and common promo cards are allowed only if the card itself has a common printing. If a card has ever appeared as a common in a paper release or on Magic Online, any version of that card may be used, including lands that carry a common set symbol or the L rarity code. Build a main deck of at least 60 cards with no maximum size. A sideboard of up to 15 cards is optional. No more than four copies of any card are permitted across the main deck and sideboard combined, except for basic lands.
