The bright, roomy Homestead meeting space offers plenty of table space to spread out and work through those unfinished projects, while the inn’s inviting lobby provides cozy spots by the fireplace and other comfortable seating areas for relaxed stitching and conversation. The shared workspace is secured overnight for peace of mind. A three-day fee of $165, or $155 for Sauder Village members, covers lunch and dinner on the first two days plus lunch on the final day, along with snacks, beverages, daily artisan-made door prizes, and admission to historic Sauder Village. Whether attending with a friend or arriving solo, all fiber makers are welcome.

Experience regional history at the Historic Village during Homeschool Days, where families take part in interactive, hands-on activities throughout the Village that make learning engaging and fun. Multiple dates are available during the season. Discounted admission for homeschool families is $14 per adult and $10 per student ages 4 to 17, and children 3 and under are free. Author and genealogist Sunny Morton will lead a free seminar at the Serrick Center on the Defiance College campus. The program features two sessions with practical genealogy tips, focusing on confirming family stories and using U.S. church records to overcome tough research obstacles, with a lunch break between sessions. Fayette Fall Fest fills the Fayette Opera House and nearby sidewalks with family friendly fun. Sidewalk booths feature crafts, and the Garden Club offers a mum sale. The Opera House parking lot hosts a chili cook off with voting and results announced later in the day. The Fayette Fire Department serves a chicken barbecue, and the Bull Thistle Committee sells hot dogs, popcorn, cider slushies, soft drinks, water, and cider. Look for food specials from One More Bar & Grill, Freddy’s, and Louie’s. Inside the Opera House, F.A.S.T. sponsors a pie baking contest with judging taking place in the afternoon. Wild West Wizards Wauseon hosts a relaxed night of open play for Commander. Bring a new build or a longtime favorite, enjoy friendly games, and connect with other players in the community. There are no structured rounds or pairings, so play at your own pace. A prize drawing will take place during the event, with potential rewards such as booster packs, promotional packs, store promotional items, and other surprises. Remember to bring a Commander deck.

Dirt trucks and super stocks go head to head at Oakshade Raceway in collaboration with the Showdown Series and Oakshade Raceway. The goal is to boost racer payouts through sponsorships, with every dollar raised added directly to the base purses for the sponsored portions of the program, whether through lap sponsors or general sponsors. Current supporters include Scrappees, Ohio Sports Blitz, Speedy Graphics, Ron Miller Race Cars, Dippman Motorsports, Real Geese Decoys, Freeze Frame Photos, and Dominator Race Products. Race operations are handled by track management, while Hammer Down Racing Report is focused on increasing the payout. Sponsors will be recognized on the show and at the track.
