A monthly, midweek summer pause at The Stacy Mansion in Tecumseh, MI offers two unhurried hours to reset. Begin with an easygoing walk through the gardens, complemented by light sips and snacks from a featured local vendor, and explore at your own pace. The evening then moves indoors to the second floor of Wealthy Hall for a restorative sound bath led by Shannon Renee of Me in the Meantime, intended to quiet the mind and support a sense of ease. Admission includes garden access during the opening hour, light refreshments, and a one hour sound bath. Please note that the sound bath space is on the second floor and the mansion does not have an elevator, so one flight of stairs is required. Tickets are available per session, and guests may attend a single date or all four across the season.

Live music will be performed at several venues throughout the downtown area. Attendees can move between locations to enjoy performances across multiple spots in one outing.

An Ann Arbor college 80s favorite returns to Uncle Lyle’s with a set that revisits the alternative tracks from their University of Michigan days, adds new selections, and includes a few Michigan numbers. Expect a lively, dance-friendly show that blends nostalgia with fresh energy.

Now in its seventh year in Lenawee County, this Pride celebration brings a welcoming focus to the LGBTQIA+ community and its history in Downtown Adrian. The event is organized to foster a safe, empowering and inclusive environment for everyone, honoring those who paved the way and carrying that torch forward. Lenawee Pride 2026 features a full lineup with headliner Baddie Brooks, a musical performance by Hornet's Daughter and line dancing with Cypressene Fitness. Expect a DJ, drag and other queer performances, face painting by Colorful Events and DJ, sound and stage production by W4 Entertainment. Drag entertainers include Virgil ciel, Nika Fierce, Solo Jackson, Cherri the Khimera, Fantasthma and Gizelle DeVaux. Habitat restoration is the focus at Searles Nature Preserve, a 50 acre natural area owned by Washtenaw Bird & Nature Alliance that safeguards the headwaters of Stony Creek. In North America, 97 percent of land birds depend on animal protein, mostly insects, to feed their young, and many insects require specific native host plants to reproduce, so strengthening plant diversity is vital for bird conservation. Volunteers will remove invasive plants and enhance habitat variety. Tools and instruction will be available. Bringing leather work gloves is recommended, with loaner pairs on hand. Wear long pants, tall socks, and closed toe shoes or boots. Meet at the preserve entrance on Bolla Road between Crane and Stony Creek Roads.

Race number five of the 2026 MiSCA Race Series comes to Heritage Park in Adrian, Michigan, presented by KET Cycling. These are student-only cycling races for elementary, middle, and high school ages, and students may participate even if they are not part of a team. To be eligible, students must be registered in MiSCA’s online system, and riders also need to sign up for the races they intend to enter. Financial assistance is available for those with cost concerns. Elementary riders in grade 5 and below compete on Saturday afternoons, while riders in grade 6 and above race on Sundays. Entry and parking at Heritage Park are free. The trail is maintained by the Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association.

Kapnick Orchards hosts the 47th Apple Festival alongside Tecumseh’s 32nd Appleumpkin. A craft show is part of the weekend, and applications are being accepted from vendors offering homemade arts and crafts only.

See the Tecumseh Appleumpkin Festival from above with short helicopter rides in Tecumseh, Michigan. Each flight lasts about five minutes and costs $50 per person, payable with cash or credit. The helicopter seats three and at least two passengers are needed for a flight. For safety, the limit is 275 pounds per passenger and 600 pounds total for a three passenger group. If an individual is over 200 pounds, or the group is near the 600 pound total, a brief weight check on a scale read only by staff may be required. Children should be older than 2, and all minors must ride with a parent or guardian.

This class is currently full, and a waiting list is available. An updated schedule with additional Intro to Woodturning dates will be announced. Over two days, participants learn core woodturning techniques and proper tool handling. With step by step instruction, students practice safe, confident lathe use while making small spindle projects on the first day, such as a candlestick with an insert, a honey dipper, a mallet, or a rolling pin. The second day builds on those skills with a lesson in turning a small bowl. Sharpening, choosing materials, and finishing techniques are included throughout. The course welcomes absolute beginners as well as those looking to refine existing skills, and it is designed to leave participants prepared to use a lathe at home with confidence.
