This session features Water Bottle Rockets with The Cincinnati Observatory. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pop Up Play offers a friendly burst of creativity with hands-on games, playful adventures, and craft activities created in collaboration with community partners. Friday Flow presented by P&G brings a season of free R&B to Washington Park, filling summer evenings with smooth vocals, live musicianship, and high energy sets. Each installment features a DJ, a house band, and a marquee performer, building momentum from the first tracks to the headlining finale. This edition in the 2026 lineup spotlights 2nd Wind. Children and their families can enjoy a playful yoga class at the Burnet Woods Bandstand that builds balance, coordination, focus, and confidence through age-appropriate poses and movement. Expect an imaginative practice where little ones can meow, purr, howl, and stretch like cats and dogs while exploring the basics of yoga. Adults are welcome to participate alongside their kids. This free community series offers four complimentary sessions and is supported by the Cincinnati Parks Foundation’s Stewards of Burnet Woods. The instructor for this session is Annie.

Join Cincinnati Public Schools and Learning Through Art, Inc. for the annual CPS Back-to-School Festival, a family-friendly event packed with games, activities, food, and literacy supplies. Families can meet with district schools, learn about CPS programs and job opportunities, and connect with community partners. Child registration is available on site, along with additional resources for families.

Spend an afternoon at the library celebrating Pokémon with crafts, snacks, card trading, and a photo station. There will also be other Pokémon-themed activities throughout the day. Card trading will be supervised to help keep trades fair.

At Fōwling Warehouse Cincinnati, this all-ages punk rock flea market features many artists and vendors, with bands performing throughout the day. Admission is $10 cash.

The 6th annual Northside Back-to-School Community Event at McKie Recreation Center is a free, public gathering focused on helping students get ready for a new school year. Families can pick up backpacks filled with school essentials, hygiene supplies, haircuts, and literacy kits, along with complimentary refreshments and family friendly entertainment. Items are distributed on a first come, first served basis, and children must be present to receive them.

The Revive edition of Westwood Second Saturdays brings a neighborhood celebration of health, wellness, and community resources to Westwood Town Hall. Presented by Westwood Works, this free gathering features music, food, community fitness activities, entertainment, and more, with additional activity details to be announced. Each week, live string music fills the west grove of Fountain Square as StringSource, a sought-after Cincinnati quartet, reshapes well-known songs by artists like Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, and Elton John. Programs rotate through themes such as 2000s Rewind, Disney favorites, and love songs spanning Taylor Swift, Backstreet Boys, Fleetwood Mac, and more, along with head-to-head sets celebrating Elton John and Billy Joel and spotlights on Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. Admission is free, seating is unreserved and available on a first-come basis, and the Fountain Bar offers cold beverages to round out the experience. This pre-match gathering in the park takes place before FC Cincinnati home games and features music, interactive vendors, and a variety of food trucks with plenty of options.
