Set in East Walnut Hills in Cincinnati, this neighborhood farmers market celebrates five years as a welcoming space for fresh produce and goods. The 6th annual Northside Back-to-School Community Event at McKie Recreation Center is a free, public gathering focused on helping students get ready for a new school year. Families can pick up backpacks filled with school essentials, hygiene supplies, haircuts, and literacy kits, along with complimentary refreshments and family friendly entertainment. Items are distributed on a first come, first served basis, and children must be present to receive them.

Enjoy a beginner friendly mat Pilates session focused on strengthening the core and improving mobility. Please bring water and a mat, or borrow one from the skate rental counter while supplies last. Led by instructor JoAnna Hortillosa, the class takes place at Sawyer Point Riverfront Rink in Cincinnati. Enjoy a free, beginner friendly session of gentle somatic yoga movement, calming breathwork, and guided meditation on the lawn at Tom Jones Commons in Eden Park. All abilities and bodies are welcome. Bring water and a yoga mat, with a limited number available to borrow. For added comfort during meditation, consider bringing a cushion, a lawn chair, or other supportive items. If the grass is damp, placing a beach towel under your mat is recommended. The gathering proceeds in most conditions and will only be canceled for dangerous weather such as thunder or extreme temperatures or wind. Plan to arrive a little early to park, find the group, settle in, and sign a waiver, which can also be completed online.
