Mortuary Manor Public Investigation & Flashlight Tour

Mortuary Manor , 2907 Lagrange St., Toledo · verified Oct 2
    See details

Eerie Excursions presents a public paranormal investigation at Mortuary Manor in Toledo, a former funeral home where decades of emotion, history, and unexplained activity are said to linger. Once known as the Urbanski Funeral Home, the building remains much as it was, with viewing rooms, preparation areas, and quiet corridors that investigators now explore after dark. Reports from previous visits include shadows that drift along the walls, abrupt temperature shifts, footsteps in empty hallways, and the unsettling sensation of being watched. As a relatively new site for the paranormal community, it has seen limited documentation, which makes this an uncommon chance to examine the location. Options include a guided flashlight tour focused on the building’s past and its reported phenomena, a 4 hour public investigation that begins with a brief introduction and walkthrough followed by time to roam the building, and an 8 hour overnight investigation for extended exploration, limited to 20 participants for a quieter, more immersive experience. The experience is designed for both newcomers and seasoned investigators. No prior experience is required, the team explains techniques and equipment at the outset, and experienced attendees may bring their own gear. Recognized as one of Ohio’s newest haunted investigation sites, early offerings are expected to fill quickly. Discover what unfolds when the halls fall silent.

Bihl Manor Ghost Hunting Development Course and Ghost Hunt

Haunted Bihl Manor, 1213 Buckland Avenue, Fremont · verified Oct 2
    See details

A hands-on, interactive training session at Bihl Manor prepares participants to conduct their own ghost hunt. Before the lights are lowered, a professional workshop strengthens key skills for safe, effective investigating. Topics include spiritual grounding and protection with energy clearing practices, sharpening intuitive awareness to sense presences ahead of the equipment, planning and carrying out a respectful, methodical investigation, practical use of tools such as EMF meters, EVP recorders, spirit boxes, and more, and approaches to reviewing evidence, eliminating natural explanations, and organizing findings. Set within a property that began in 1890 as the home of Jerome Bihl and his wife, the story of the manor spans generations. By the 1920s it belonged to Clarence and Daisy Wolfe. Clarence died within the house in the 1940s, and Daisy passed away in her bedroom in the 1960s. It later operated as a children's group home for three decades, a period marked by constant turnover and hardship. After the facility closed in the 1990s, a succession of owners stayed briefly, leaving after encounters they could not explain. Today the site is regarded as one of Ohio's most active paranormal locations. Investigators and overnight visitors often describe a dark, human-shaped figure in the upstairs hallway and parlor, sometimes seeming to watch from the doorways. In the basement and along the steep wooden stairs, people report phantom footsteps, faint whispers, and rhythmic tapping that recalls its years as a care facility. Many also mention abrupt cold spots, a strong sense of being watched, unexplained touches, and surges of energy that drain batteries quickly. Because the house once hosted funeral viewings, some believe the front parlor contains a lingering portal that attracts spirits who were never residents.

    TTT's Turkey Shootout V ($2,000 First Place)

Toledo Sports Center, 1516 Starr Ave, Toledo · verified Sep 27
    See details

TTT's Turkey Shootout returns for its fifth consecutive year at Toledo Sports Center, featuring scratch Baker doubles for teams of two in any pairing. The entry fee is $120 per team, first place pays $2,000 with 60 or more teams, and payouts go to 1 in 5 teams. Competition takes place on the house pattern. Teams bowl six Baker games while moving pairs, and total pinfall determines the winners with no match play. In the Baker setup, one bowler throws frames 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 while the other covers 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10, then they switch who starts each game so each bowler anchors three. The start may be delayed to accommodate leagues, and the event will wait for bowlers coming from other centers.
