Beachland Ballroom, 15711 Waterloo Rd, Cleveland · verified Oct 2
    See details

Beachland Tavern hosts a performance by Juno Award recipient Fred Eaglesmith, presented in a primarily seated, general admission setting. A seasoned Canadian songwriter with 25 albums, he has brought his music to The Late Show with David Letterman, the Grand Ole Opry, and Lincoln Center, yet his writing stays grounded in rural life, telling stories of service stations, county fairs, broken-down tractors, and gravel roads. A foundational voice in alt-country, he is known for intimate yet high-energy shows and a devoted community of fans known as Fred Heads. His songs have been covered by Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, and many others. More than 120 artists, spanning bluegrass to punk, have recorded Alcohol & Pills, and Trucker Speed has been counted among the top 100 Americana songs of all time, drawing over 60 million views with more than six thousand independent videos on Tik Tok. For the past 15 years he has performed with Texas-born multi-instrumentalist Tif Ginn, who is also his wife, and the current band includes their 16 year old. Together they share a seamless onstage connection where longtime favorites feel newly discovered and new material unfolds in real time, blending country soul and rock energy with storytelling that can be both humorous and deeply felt.
