    The Powell Sertoma Club returns to Historic Downtown Powell with the Larry Coolidge Powell Sertoma Cruise In, renamed in memory of the event’s founder and club charter member, Larry Coolidge. This edition marks the 34th running of a community favorite, showcasing a wide range of classic cars, hot rods, exotics, and collectible cars and trucks. A DJ will provide music throughout the day, and spectators are welcome to browse at no cost. Pre-registration is encouraged to speed up check-in. Those who pre-register can visit the main registration area and then the designated table to pick up a dash plaque and display card. The registration fee is $22 per vehicle. Casual judging will take place, with 10 large trophies awarded in categories such as Best Engine, Best Paint, and Most Original, along with additional resin trophies. A 50/50 raffle will be held, with the winning ticket drawn during the awards ceremony. Local restaurants will be open for dining and refreshments, and all proceeds from the show benefit the community through Powell Sertoma, which has raised and donated over $1,000,000.

Whether you play regularly or are trying it for the first time, there is room for casual games on the sand. The courts are beside a playground, making it a convenient outing for families. To find the courts, enter the park, continue past the playground and the baseball fields, then head toward the North Entrance. You will find parking on the left and the sand courts on the right.

Families will take home a playcard with tips to keep the learning going at home. It is designed for children ages 0 to 5, and no registration is required. The program is led by an occupational therapist and a speech pathologist from The Play Spot. Support is provided by the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
