A monthly food distribution provides assistance to registered households, who may receive services once per month. Please bring a photo ID and proof of Hocking County residency. Registration is available while you wait in the distribution line. Arrive with enough time to be in line before it closes. If a distribution is missed, plan to return on the next scheduled date. Upcoming dates are posted on the marquee at the front of the facility.

The 28th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival takes place at a new location while delivering the same festival experience centered on the pawpaw, Asimina triloba, one of the largest tree fruits native to the United States. This weekend-long celebration explores the fruit’s history and future through food and beverages that feature pawpaw, paired with a robust schedule of talks and activities on cultivation, cooking, genetics, medical applications, and broader sustainability topics. Highlights include contests for the best and largest pawpaw, a pawpaw cook-off, recognition for standout pawpaw-themed artwork, and the popular pawpaw-eating contest.

Cozy brings the Harvest edition of The Havenstone’s photo gatherings to life. This relaxed, come and go experience invites guests to explore the grounds, discover thoughtfully arranged photo scenes, and enjoy the property without booking a private session. The series highlights the landscape as it changes through the year, moving from Emergence in May, Bloom in June, Flourish in July, Abundance in August, and Harvest in September to Ember in October, with Dormant from November through April. Wander at your own pace, bring a phone or camera, or work with a photographer to capture meaningful moments. Admission is $20 for ages 16 and up, $10 for Shared Horizon, and free for ages 15 and under with a paid adult. Season passes are available.

Now in its third year, the Jeep Off Cancer fundraiser supports Worth the Wait. Highlights include a Jeep show and shine with trophies, music, a party barn, food trucks, and a dedicated kids area.
