A four-day yoga and wellness retreat unfolds in Hocking Hills, Ohio, at an artistic 4,000-square-foot eco-lodge nestled on a private 58-acre nature preserve. The setting supports a slower pace, personal reflection, and meaningful reconnection through a blend of yoga, nature, creativity, and rest within a friendly community atmosphere. Participants can expect daily yoga and breathwork, meditation and reflection time, and gentle evening sessions such as yin, along with spacious breaks to be outside. Creative elements include a private art tour plus a guided creative activation and sculpture-making class, complemented by a restorative sound bath. A dedicated Forest Spa Afternoon features a cedar sauna, a cold plunge ice bath, and a 15-minute chair massage for each guest. On-site amenities include a hot tub, sauna, meditation areas, and forest trails. Three meals prepared by Chef Nick are included to support a nourishing retreat experience. Optional free time offers opportunities to hike area highlights such as Rockhouse, Conkles Hollow, Ash Cave, Whispering Cave, and Old Man’s Cave. Lodging consists of a three-night stay at the Unique Art Lodge. This experience suits anyone seeking grounding, mental clarity, creative renewal, and a deeper connection with self. Pricing is available for several room types. Shared rooms are $1,199 for early bird and $1,349 regular. Private rooms for single occupancy are $1,549 early bird and $1,699 regular. Private rooms for double occupancy, priced per person, are $1,299 early bird and $1,449 regular. A $300 non-refundable deposit secures a spot, payment plans are available upon request, and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the retreat. The $300 deposit is non-refundable. More than 60 days before the retreat, payments are refundable minus a $50 administrative fee or can be applied as credit toward another Studio YOU retreat. Within 60 days, all payments are non-refundable, though a reservation may be transferred to another guest. No-shows or early departures do not receive refunds.

Registered families can access food distribution once per month on the third Friday of each month. Please bring a photo ID and proof of Hocking County residency. If you are not yet registered, you can complete registration while waiting in the distribution line. Plan to arrive with enough time to be in line before it closes. If you miss a distribution, return on the next scheduled date. Upcoming dates are posted on the marquee at the front of the facility.

At Hocking County Fairgrounds, a demolition derby brings a full slate of action with classes that include Powerwheels, Street Stock Full-Size, Street Stock Compact, Windshield Compact, and MWFA. Payouts are based on a five entry minimum for each class, and they may be adjusted at the event if turnout falls below that minimum.

The 740 Games brings two days of varied fitness challenges to the Logan High School campus. Activities will span multiple facilities, including the 86,000 square foot Chieftain Center, the turf football stadium, and the ROTC course. Offerings include CrossFit, Hyrox, and a 5k, creating a broad mix of ways to get moving. More details will be announced.

No two shows are exactly alike, and the mix changes each time.

Step away from the constant buzz of everyday life and settle into a long weekend focused on slowing down, moving with intention, breathing fresh air, and reconnecting with nature, community, and self. Hosted by Transient Yoga in Hocking Hills, this retreat includes three nights at Meadow Lark Lodge on 2.8 private hilltop acres with a view of the Hocking Valley. The lodge offers a wraparound deck, places to gather by the fire, and a private hot tub. Participants can expect seven meals with beverages and snacks, yoga sessions, art therapy workshops, and time to hike and explore the area’s trails, rock formations, and cliffs. Space is set aside for unhurried rest and meaningful connection. Attendance is limited to eight spots. A non-refundable $200 deposit reserves a place. Any King room may be shared by two people who can share the cost. Remaining balances will be invoiced, and smaller payments can be made over time.

Returning to Logan, Katie and the RED HOTS take the stage at Moose Lodge #873 in the Logan Moose Family Center for an evening of high energy rock and roll.

Now in its second year, Halloween in the Hills offers a festive mix of costume showcases for all ages. Children can step into a parade that leads into a contest where the crowd selects first, second, and third place trophy winners. The adult competition highlights the best blacklight or UV reflective costume, with first place starting with a $100 bill, $50 for second, and $25 for third. The Halloween tattoo contest is currently on hold while a prize package is finalized.

Corning Eagles hosts a community fundraiser for the Falcons Athletic Legacy League with an ATV and Jeep ride, live music by Bristol Blue, great food, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing.
