Attendees can test Canon cameras and lenses on site and receive practical instruction from professional sports photographer Tim Phillis of TCP Photography. Free parking is included. Canon will provide complimentary loaner gear to try during the game. Bringing a range of lenses is encouraged, and a tripod with a remote trigger is recommended for fireworks. Many sports photographers favor lenses such as a 70-200mm f/2.8, 300mm, or 400mm f/2.8, but any preferred lenses are welcome. Non rental options will also be available through Pixel Connection before the event. A basic understanding of camera settings like ISO and aperture is recommended, and familiarity with baseball fundamentals can enhance the experience. Unique access and limited capacity are expected to drive strong interest. Please note that the Lake Erie Crushers may sell photographs taken during the workshop for use in team promotional and collateral materials, with photo credit provided to the photographer. All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver.
