Post Holiday/Liam Brock/ONGFACE at the Westside Bowl

Youngstown · Westside Bowl, 2617 Mahoning Ave

Westside Bowl hosts a night of live music with Post Holiday, Liam Brock, and ONGFACE. Post Holiday brings an indie alternative sound rooted in candor, atmosphere, and personal growth. What started as a private creative outlet has grown into an intentional collection shaped by heartbreak, reflection, and the work of building back. The songs blend indie rock textures with touches of modern pop and electronic production, creating a sound that feels close and expansive at once. Expect contrasts, from hushed verses and pulsing rhythms to tender lyrics delivered with quiet confidence, where nostalgia pushes forward rather than looking back. Themes center on love, loss, self reckoning, and choosing to move ahead even when answers are unclear. The project favors capturing raw moments over chasing polish, turning real feelings into music listeners can recognize in themselves. Advance tickets are $5, and day-of admission is $15.

    Mourning Night to Morning Light

North Lima · 11836 South Ave

Mourning Night to Morning Light is a monthly Christ-centered grief support gathering that offers a confidential, grace-filled space to process loss. Whether the pain is fresh or from years past, difficult seasons, holidays, and life changes can bring feelings back to the surface, and this group provides room to acknowledge them and be heard. Each meeting focuses on a distinct theme, such as starting a new year while still grieving, exploring love and loss, wrestling with faith and doubt, noticing avoidance, and finding support when everything feels especially heavy. Participants reflect on Scripture, receive compassionate encouragement, and take part in gentle, hands-on activities that foster intentional, active healing. This is not a forum for quick fixes or unsolicited advice. It is a setting to breathe, honor your story, share as much or as little as you wish, and take next steps at a pace that feels right. Practical guidance is offered each month, along with a quiet reminder that hope can grow, often softly and over time. Attendance is free, and donations are appreciated to help provide supplies and refreshments.
