This weekend in Trumbull County, OH

SHP Trumbull Co is organizing a bed delivery day to support local children in need. Volunteers will gather at a storage garage to load materials, then head out to deliver handmade wooden bed frames along with a brand-new mattress, pillow, sheets, a comforter, and a cozy blanket. No prior experience is required, and guidance is provided on site. Participation is limited to volunteers delivering to previously approved applicants, and advance registration before delivery day is required.

Enjoy a make and take craft session where kids design their own trick or treat bag. The first child is $10, and each additional child per adult is $8. Each participant receives a bag to decorate with provided supplies, plus a sticker face sheet, and candy and a glow bracelet are included. A parent gets a complimentary 16 oz coffee.

This orientation welcomes people interested in helping care for dogs at the shelter. Participants receive a tour of the building, review important safety practices, and learn how cleaning and feeding are handled. If an online application has not been submitted, it can be completed on site before the session begins.
