Teens: Dragon Egg Craft
Teens can dive into a fantasy craft workshop at the Stillwater Public Library and create their own dragon eggs. Using a variety of materials, participants will design unique eggs inspired by dragons of every kind and take their creations home when they are finished. All supplies are provided, and no experience is needed. This program is part of the library’s summer reading initiative, Unearth a Story. Major sponsors include the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library.
Stillwater Public LibraryFamily Storytime - Dinosaur Bones
Explore Dinosaur Bones at this 30-minute Family Storytime. Designed for children ages 2 to 5 and suitable for the whole family, the session features dinosaur-themed stories, songs, and play. Families can make a craft together with provided materials and engage in hands-on sensory activities. A new theme is explored each week through books and songs, with a craft and sensory play included.
Perkins Library Community RoomJuly Meeting - Read, White, and Blue Books
Expect a relaxed get together with book talk, friendly faces, and plenty of laughs, plus treats from Wandering Brew. A game or activity is planned, and craft materials will be available.
Wandering BrewKids Field Trip
This summer field trip with the Stillwater Public Library heads to the OSU Art Museum to explore Ingrid Dee Magidson: Master of Metamorphosis, with time set aside to make colorful art projects. It is part of the library’s Unearth a Story summer reading program, where participants can register for summer reading, track reading time, earn prizes, and learn about additional events. Major sponsors include the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and the Friends of the Stillwater Public Library.
