No practice is allowed during the qualifying windows or immediately before playoffs. The playoff bracket depends on turnout. With 48 entrants, 24 advance and the top eight receive a bye. With 32, the top 16 advance with no byes. With 24, the top 12 advance and the top four receive a bye. Playoff rounds are three games using 4-2-1-0 scoring. Higher seeds choose either the game or player position, and that position applies for all three games. Top seeds may not pick the same game again in later rounds.
