As part of the Days Between celebration, Jerry’s Middle Finger brings a faithful and communal tribute to the Jerry Garcia Band’s songbook to Crystal Ballroom in an all-ages setting. Formed in 2015 by Garrett Deloian, Rodney Newman, Son Vo, Jon Gold, Halina Janusz, and Lisa Malsberger, the group grew from early Los Angeles club shows to appearances at landmark rooms including Great American Music Hall, the Troubadour, The Ardmore, and Garcia’s at the Capitol Theatre. Their performances focus on the music Garcia made outside the Grateful Dead, weaving blues, reggae, Motown, gospel, and psychedelic rock into a set that changes from night to night.
