Night of Horrors: Carnival of Shadows

Veneta · Territorial Highway, 87410 Territorial Hwy

A new Halloween attraction presents a sprawling haunted maze described as the world’s largest of its kind, offering nearly 60,000 square feet of winding corridors, doorways, and themed scenes. The experience continues with a zombie-hunt haunted hayride, classic carnival games, and food and drinks with chances to win prizes. This event welcomes all ages, and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Accessibility reflects typical outdoor terrain in Oregon in October. A Tent of Curiosity adds to the atmosphere with Halloween items from various movies, experiments, and more. Important notes from the organizers include no affiliation with Stranger Things or any events not produced by Royal Events LLC. It is a no-contact experience, so performers do not touch guests and guests are asked not to touch staff. Alcohol is not provided or sold. Anyone who has been drinking beforehand is expected to be respectful, as the setting is intended for families, and those who disregard the rules may be asked to leave. Pricing includes general maze admission at $20 and the haunted hayride at $5. Game tickets are $1 each, with games requiring one to four tickets. Entry to the tent attraction requires three game tickets. Fast pass maze admission is $30, a group rate for five people is $85, and a group pass for five people is $130. These passes are sold online only, plus fees. Package deals are available online, and special rates for large groups, parties, and a targeted scare experience are available by inquiry. Ticket holders from the 2025 event that was canceled due to storm damage who did not receive a refund from their bank or the third-party ticket company can reach out to arrange complimentary passes for this year. The organizers note that the ticket company holds funds until the week after an event and that some refunds were refused due to attempted double claims, and they state an intent to make things right.
