The Community Center for the Performing Arts presents the return of Jerry's Middle Finger to WOW Hall, a performance dedicated to the music and spirit of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. Formed in 2015 by professional musicians, the band shaped its distinctive sound in LA speakeasies and beachfront dive bars, then grew to packed shows on storied stages across California, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington, connecting with new listeners and longtime devotees alike. At the center is guitarist and singer Garrett Deloian, whose blues background channels a deep love for Garcia's work. Founder and drummer Rodney Newman anchors the rhythm section alongside bassist Son Vo. The lineup also features vocalists Halina Janusz and Lisa Malsberger with keyboardist Jon Gold, coming together for a lively, dance-friendly celebration of the catalog.

The Oregon Festival of American Music presents Beyond the Sea at The Shedd Institute in Eugene, a program devoted to music outside the traditional Songbook that has flowed from around the world and across America into popular and jazz traditions. Building on an earlier focus on the musical ties between France and the United States, this edition widens the lens to trace crosscurrents and convergences with other countries and with styles that have found a place in the Songbook and jazz mainstream. Artistic Director Chuck Redd leads a lineup of eight distinctive concerts, many with two performances, along with a Jazz Party, talks, films, and two community sing alongs.

Island Park sets the scene for an evening of live music as Honey Brown Band takes the stage as part of an outdoor concert series that highlights a different group each night across multiple genres. This Top 40 cover act blends current chart favorites with well-known classics, performing two sets separated by a 20-minute intermission. General admission is $5, or free with the donation of two non-perishable food items. Bring blankets or chairs to relax on the lawn. They will perform Side One of Van Morrison's Moondance, with Ruggiero on stage throughout the set following a European tour with Morrison. The program also features Sugar Beets songs and other lively, dance friendly summer tunes. Admission is $5 per person, or free with a donation of two cans of non-perishable food to support the Willamalane Park and Recreation District food pantry.

Country Night at The Cooler features line dance lessons to kick things off, then DJ Jeff keeps the floor moving by spinning request-friendly favorites for hours of dancing. Expect lively dancing, food on hand, and chilled beverages for adults.

Starwater & Sol offers a contemplative sound journey shaped by the partnership of Bodhi Starwater and Christopher Sol. Their collaboration invites deep relaxation and restorative listening, blending ancient acoustic textures with airy, contemporary atmospheres that connect grounded rhythms with expansive tones. Bodhi brings more than four decades in sound healing and music, drawing from South American traditions alongside formal training. His multi-instrumental skills and intuitive approach create resonant experiences aimed at inner transformation. Christopher contributes over ten years of practice, featuring the didgeridoo, handpan, and other rhythmic elements that anchor the experience in earthy pulses while gently uplifting the spirit. Together they fuse time honored sonorities, modern frequencies, and intuitive insight to offer an invocation rather than a conventional performance, a remembrance carried by sound. Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $20 to $30. The project has been recognized with a Silver Medal from the Global Music Awards.
