Now celebrating years of sobriety and purpose, he serves the recovery community as a state-certified recovery specialist, a certified mental health coach, and a ministry leader for Recovery Alive at Living Faith Church. His mission is to reach people who feel too far gone with a message of second chances. While studying at Liberty University, he continues to show that change is possible and credits his faith in a God who still performs miracles.

The 33rd annual celebration of local heritage unfolds at McConnells Mill State Park, centered around the Kildoo Picnic Area and the historic gristmill. With sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Portersville-Prospect, the festival highlights the years 1852 to 1928, when the mill used the force of Slippery Rock Creek to grind grain for bread. Visitors can step inside the mill to see original machinery, explore a Civil War encampment, take part in demonstrations of arts and crafts, and listen to live music. Regional artists and makers share their craft and offer handmade goods for purchase. Family friendly activities help connect all ages with the history of the site. Admission and parking are free.

Economy Borough Community Day brings the community together at the Borough Municipal Complex for a full day of live entertainment, activities, and plenty to eat and drink. Around the grounds, look for vendor booths, bounce houses, axe tossing, a train show, a World War II historical display, Gellyball, a touch a truck zone, and a range of food options. Dying Breed brings a rock and roll experience to Bridgewater, PA.
