An appreciation weekend at The Maze at Coolspring Ranch salutes everyone who keeps schools running. Free admission is available with a valid school ID for those who teach, serve meals, drive buses, maintain facilities, keep offices in shape and lend a hand in any way, including janitors, nurses, cafeteria workers, aides, teachers, bus drivers and security. Regular admission applies to others. Formerly Coolspring Corn Maze, the venue rebranded in 2025 to Coolspring Ranch and remains the same destination it has been for the past 22 years.

This event offers seasonal brews, food, fires, vendors, and activities for children. Kids can enjoy a bouncy inflatable house and inflatable yard games. A keg toss competition is planned with day-of signups for both men and women. Live music will feature Ben Gage & The One Shots with The Young Sisters, along with Skye Burkett.

Honda Element owners gather in western Pennsylvania for a relaxed fall weekend built around camping, Halloween thrills, local exploring, and time with the Element community. The weekend is based at Cheeseman Farm and Betsy’s Barn, home to Cheeseman’s Fright Farm near Slippery Rock. Registration is required per participating vehicle. Pre-registration is 10 dollars per vehicle and day-of registration is 15 dollars per vehicle. Registration helps cover event costs and comes with a Hellement Hollow decal, event materials, and a gift bag when available. Only one registration is needed per vehicle regardless of how many people are in that vehicle. A Saturday Camping, Fright Night, and Sunday Breakfast package is offered at 40 dollars per person. It includes Saturday night camping at Cheeseman Farm, parking at the campsite, admission to Cheeseman’s Fright Farm with the haunted hayride and other haunted attractions, and a group breakfast on Sunday morning. Extra-night camping is available for those arriving on Friday at 12 dollars per person. Dinner on Saturday is not part of registration. Cheeseman Farm offers 14 inch pizzas and a variety of drinks at the concession area, and a group pizza order will be organized on site for anyone who wants to participate. Drinks can be purchased individually and there is no need to prepay. Highlights include the haunted hayride and house, camping with Elements, a self guided photo scavenger hunt, vendors plus raffles and games, nearby visits to McConnell’s Mill State Park and Moraine State Park, an optional Hell’s Hollow outing, and a Sunday breakfast. Saturday is kept open without a long organized drive so participants can set up camp, check out other Elements, visit vendors, join activities, head out on the scavenger hunt, or relax at the farm. Hellement Hollow is less like a traditional car show and more like a laid-back autumn getaway for Element owners. Participants typically bring their Element and camping gear, and the spooky atmosphere is taken care of on site.

A community benefit dinner supports Kayla Alcorn as she continues recovery from a brain aneurysm. Enjoy a meal and take part in a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction with prizes. Participation helps support Kayla and her family during this challenging time. The 17th Annual Coolspring Ranch Car Cruise offers a relaxed day of classic rides and ranch fun, featuring live music, food concessions, and attractions for all ages. The first 100 qualifying show cars receive goody bags sponsored by Ben Bissett Chevrolet. Show car admission is $10 cash at the gate and includes entry for two people, with additional passengers in the show car admitted at the regular rate of $15 per person. Vehicles welcomed include pre-1979 classics, hot rods, muscle cars, imports, customs, low riders, and specialty or exotic models, among others. A portion of the proceeds benefits Mercer County 4-H in support of local youth and agricultural programs. Bubien grew up in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and has steadily built his career from early club gigs to bandleader and solo artist. His projects include work with The Sun Kings and the solo albums Empty Roads and Grinding These Gears, the latter earning chart recognition and honors from the Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. With The Delta Struts, he continues that momentum with original songs, vivid guitar interplay, and a live set designed for soulful energy and tight grooves.
