Hosted by The Arc of York & Adams Counties with UPMC as presenter, this inaugural Disability Film Festival takes place at Gateway Theater in Gettysburg. The gathering brings together people with disabilities, families, advocates, community leaders, and local businesses to celebrate storytelling, inclusion, and the ability of film to reduce barriers. It begins with a brief social reception offering free refreshments and opportunities to meet others, learn about The Arc, and connect with organizations that advance inclusion and advocacy across York and Adams Counties. A showcase of four short films follows, sharing varied perspectives and lived experiences while highlighting the strength and resilience within the disability community.

An open cruise night at Crabbs Tropical Treat brings together car lovers for a relaxed, family friendly evening with plenty to see, good food, and music. All makes, models, and years are welcome. A $1 donation helps fund local charities, and dash plaques and trophies will be available. No pre registration is required.

An Adams County Library program co-sponsored by the Gettysburg Foundation offers a cozy pajama storytime around the campfire. This outdoor, after-hours gathering is suitable for all ages, with books chosen especially for children in kindergarten and first grade. Expect read-aloud tales and campfire songs. Siblings and stuffed animals are welcome. There is no cost to attend, and no reservations or tickets are needed for the storytime. If the weather is poor, the program will be canceled. The children's history museum is open beforehand, and separate tickets are required for the museum adventure.

Designed for small homeschool groups and families, this farm day blends hands-on learning about pumpkins and popcorn with plenty of outdoor fun. Ride a hay wagon to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin while Farmer Chris explains how they grow. Spend time on attractions such as the corn box, hill slide, pumpkin bowling, bubble bins, and the corn maze, with more activities available. A snack of homemade kettle corn and apple cider or water is included, and participants can bring a bagged lunch to enjoy at the farm. Admission is $10 per person, with children ages 2 and under admitted free. Everyone older than 2 needs a ticket, and tickets are required since none are sold at the gate. Stations can be completed at your own pace, and the event is available on two dates this season. The Barrel Factory will be open with slushies, drinks, and kettle corn for an additional cost. Extra pumpkins can be purchased for $0.50 per pound, capped at $14.
