The City of Harrisburg presents the 110th annual Kipona Festival at Riverfront Park, a three day celebration filled with entertainment and community spirit. Look for a family fun area, a multicultural celebration, live music, art throughout the park, an array of food trucks, a beer and wine garden, a parade of giant puppets, and the Keystone DockDogs competition, with even more to explore. One evening will wrap up with a fireworks show. To make arrival easier, parking is available on City Island for $5, and the train station is a short three block walk from the festival area. A free ADA accessible shuttle operates in a continuous loop between City Island and the riverfront festival throughout each day. Some nearby roads will have temporary closures during the event, so plan for possible detours.
