An open mic poetry reading at HMAC welcomes poets and spoken word artists to share their work, presented by Blacklisted Poets of Harrisburg. All ages are welcome, and attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a guardian.

The Abbey Bar hosts a weekly open mic and jam for all ages, led by Jason Mescia, Mark Santanna, and Mark Romeo. Signups are first come, first served, and there is a featured set each week. A full backline is provided, including a drum kit, electric and bass guitars with amps, and a keyboard, and participants are welcome to bring their own instruments or pedalboards. Performance slots are limited to three songs or ten minutes. Every style is encouraged, whether you want to play solo, bring a band, jump into a jam with other musicians, try stand up comedy, share poetry, or show off tap, breakdance, or even yo-yo skills.

At the Farm Show Complex, the ECRRA Championship Show, also known as the Terry Helder Memorial Ranch Show, runs as part of the KILE Region 1-2-3 full slate and features a wide range of ranch classes. Offerings include Ranch Mares and Ranch Geldings/Stallions across Open, Non Pro, Youth, Novice, and Prime Time divisions, with walk trot and walk trot lope options. The Coffee & Arts Festival celebrates local creativity and community in Midtown, Harrisburg. Explore local art vendors, take part in yoga and sip and paint sessions, try a pumpkin painting activity, and enjoy coffee from area vendors with music creating a lively neighborhood atmosphere. Meet artists, find handmade pieces, and enjoy interactive experiences that have made this gathering a signature fall event in Midtown. Admission is free and all ages are welcome. At the Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg PA, this gem, mineral and jewelry show features local exhibitors alongside dealers who travel from around the country, with items sourced from around the world. Browse rough rocks, crystals, fossils, and finished jewelry, and spend time with club member displays as well as educational exhibits focused on minerals and fossils. With more than 25 vendors, there is plenty to explore. A silent quarter auction takes place every fifteen minutes with bidding in 25 cent increments. Children can enjoy the kids area with a 25 cent rock wheel, a free mini mine, and other activities. Attendees may enter a free prize drawing for items contributed by vendors, and food and refreshments are available in the cafeteria. Tickets are sold at the door and payment is cash only. Some vendors accept credit cards, but others do not. Admission is $6, or $5 with a postcard or ad. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult, and Scouts in uniform are admitted free.
