Shaver’s Creek naturalists lead an easygoing walk focused on watching and listening for the many bird species moving through central Pennsylvania during migration. Along the way, they highlight songs, calls, and key field marks, with examples from thrushes and sparrows to warblers and woodpeckers. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy hiking boots, bring binoculars and any favorite field guides, and come ready to be curious. All experience levels are welcome, and a limited number of binoculars are available to borrow. With support from Wiscoy for Animals, the program is free and open to the public.

A free peer support group with NAMI and HOPE Drop-In is available. After the group, a hot meal is served in the building.

This Tai' Chi Gung class offers gentle movement and breath practices that encourage connection with the natural life force, supporting calm, vitality, and regenerative health. Rooted in teachings attributed to Lao Tzu, also known as Boganathar, this tradition emphasizes renewal of body, mind, and spirit. Each class follows the same flow of warmups and four foundational standing exercises, so newcomers can start at any time. Nearly 90 percent of students report sensing the energy in their first class. Trivia Night at Buccinese Society features team-based challenges with no charge to participate, and it is open to non-members. Hosted by "The Professor," Jim Price, the game spans a broad mix of topics, with fresh themes and new questions every week. Prizes go to the three highest scoring teams. The kitchen serves weekly specials along with desserts, sandwiches, salads, wings, and more, and the entire venue is smoke free.

This event features Friday night booster drafts run at Regular Rules Enforcement Level and Companion sanctioned. Entry is simply the booster packs used in the draft. Prizes are awarded based on final placement and the size of the field.

The format is 1v1 Constructed with best of one matches, 30 minute rounds, and typically three to four rounds depending on attendance. A 2v2 option can be scheduled by request. Participants receive promo packs from Bandai Organized Play, and additional prizes based on match record may include Gundam booster packs and other available items. Staff at this official organized play location can provide demos for anyone learning the game, and a limited number of store decks are available to borrow. Enjoy casual Commander play arranged in pods. Pod registration comes with a promo. Players without a group can be paired with a pod. Before games begin, check with your table to agree on the level of play.

Now in its seventh year, the Adam Zook Memorial Run supports suicide awareness and helps fund local scholarships. Participants can choose from a 5K run, a 9.88 mile run, or a 2 mile walk. Online registration is available for race entries, donations, and ordering extra shirts. Entry fees are $25 for adults and $15 for participants 18 and under, with day-of registration priced at $30 and $20. Spectators are welcome at no cost. Celebrate the season at DelGrosso's Park with the 39th Annual Harvestfest, a family-friendly gathering filled with flavorful food, artisan crafts, and free entertainment included with admission. This Magic: The Gathering prerelease concludes the storyline that began in Strixhaven and serves as the game's final in-universe set of 2026. A raffle will award a 2026 Can-Am Defender Limited HD11 paired with a 6x12 B-Wise trailer. The vehicle features an enclosed cab, a touchscreen interface, heat and air conditioning, power windows, a windshield wiper, a manual dump bed, and cup holders. All windows have 35 percent tint donated by Professional Window Tinting of Glen Hope, PA. Pennsylvania tax, title, and tag are included. The drawing will take place during the last ATV Poker Run. Entries are 10 dollars each, and all proceeds support a 100 percent volunteer fire company.

Legion Park hosts the Wieland Small Tube Products car show featuring cars, trucks, and bikes on display. Concessions will be sold. Trophies will go to the top three cars, top three trucks, and top three bikes. Attendees can buy tickets to cast a vote for their favorite ride.

Strum along at a welcoming ukulele jam at Greenbean Coffee House, open to all ages and experience levels. Beginners and seasoned players can enjoy playing together, and ukuleles will be available to borrow if you need one. The group uses songbooks compiled by the club, so participants are encouraged to bring a copy, with the latest versions available on the club website. You are also welcome to bring printouts of a new tune to share with the group. The event is free to attend, and a suggested $5 donation is appreciated.
