Daily mileage is intentionally kept modest, allowing plenty of time to relax and explore historic towns along the route. Highlights include riding through the Youghiogheny River Gorge and a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater.

The Flat Tire Co Gravel Series wraps up in Ohiopyle with a celebratory group ride that welcomes all levels. Riders can choose a 25 mile GAP rail trail route, a 28 mile gravel option, or a 38 mile gravel route with extra climbing. Routes will be shared via Ride with GPS, and participants are responsible for downloading and navigating their chosen course as groups naturally sort by pace. Expect classic Ohiopyle terrain with gravel and dirt roads, rail trail connections, forest roads, and a backdrop of autumn color. After the ride, the plan is to gather at The Twisted Spoke for food, drinks, and a proper sendoff to the season. This is a celebration, not a race, and it is free and open to all riders.

Set at Chestnut Ridge Park & Campground, the Mountaineer Monster Grand Depart is a West Virginia cryptid themed bikepacking adventure with a scavenger hunt twist. Riders can choose from three demanding routes covering 110, 275, or 465 miles, and teams are encouraged. This is a fully self supported challenge. Participants may aim for the fastest known time on the set course, or simply tour the route without racing. The courses are difficult and riders assume all risks. To record a qualifying time, the entire course must be ridden, supplies may be purchased from local businesses during public open hours, and camping or hotel stays must be at lodging that is publicly available to all participants. All riders are required to register a satellite tracker through the Follow My Challenge platform. Personal devices can be linked for a $30 fee, and rentals are available for $80. The public can follow rider progress on an online tracking map, and a rider packet with additional details will be provided to those who register through Follow My Challenge.

The Big Bear Rider Appreciation Party is a free event with no trail fees, based out of the Trailhead Parking Area at the front of the property.
