Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance receive credit toward a future event, and those made with less than 24 hours notice are not transferable. Because materials are prepared ahead of time, refunds are not offered. If weather forces a closure, participants may choose a full refund or a credit. The performance will also honor the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with a complete rendition of the 1982 album Long After Dark. Jakob Dylan continues to lead the group, having inducted Tom Petty into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, appeared in the documentary Echo in the Canyon alongside artists including Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Beck, Cat Power, Norah Jones, and Regina Spektor, and contributed songs to film soundtracks such as the band’s cover of Heroes for the Godzilla soundtrack. The Wallflowers have supported Eric Clapton on a U.S. tour and have also supported The Who and The Rolling Stones. RAF Trail Race Series

Now in its fifth year, this trail race series honors Robin Ames with a full slate of trail events at Coopers Rock State Forest. Distances include 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K, plus a 50K relay for five runners with each teammate completing a 10K loop. A one mile fun run for Robin’s Scouts is also part of the day. The 10K follows a single loop that the 50K repeats five times, with about 687 feet of elevation gain per lap. The primary climb on this route is rated Category 4, averaging a 3.4 percent grade and rising roughly 429 feet over 2.4 miles. The 5K covers one loop with approximately 380 feet of total ascent. The 25K combines the 5K loop followed by the 10K loop twice. All loops begin and finish at the same location, creating a central area with music, food and a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the running community and honors Robin’s life. Runners can take part in person, and a virtual option is available for those who cannot be on site.

2026 Mountaineer Monster Grand Depart

West Virginia’s cryptid lore meets long-distance bikepacking in a Grand Depart that pairs endurance riding with a scavenger hunt on two wheels. Participants can choose routes of about 110, 275, or 465 miles, ride solo or form a team, and either race the clock or tour the course during the Grand Depart. This is a self-supported format with challenging courses, and each rider is responsible for personal safety. To record an official time, the full route must be completed. Resupplies are limited to local businesses during normal public hours, and overnight stays must be in camping or lodging that is open to everyone. All participants are required to use satellite tracking through the Follow My Challenge platform, with options for a $30 personal-device registration or an $80 rental, and progress can be followed on an online map. A rider packet with further details will be provided to those who register with the tracking platform.
