    Top Dog presents an outdoor basic obedience class that helps dogs practice around other dogs and unfamiliar people in a setting with everyday distractions. The course runs for five weeks, costs $150 per person, and is capped at eight dog and handler teams per class to take advantage of the large outdoor space. It welcomes first-time learners and also works as a refresher for dogs with prior training. Skills covered include sit, lay, stay, come, heel position, watch me, front, rear, center, and polite greetings with strangers. Please bring a leash and harness, high value treats, a water bowl with water, and shoes that tie securely. Since the grass can be wet, waterproof shoes or boots are recommended.
