AccessPoint Art Show and Concert

At Cranston Public Library, AccessPoint RI presents a free art show and concert that celebrates creativity, self expression, and the talents of artists and performers with differing abilities. As part of the organization’s Without Limits Disability Pride celebration, the program centers on inclusion, community, and artistic expression. Visitors can explore original artwork created by individuals supported by AccessPoint RI, hear live music from the AccessPoint RI Glee Club, and enjoy special performances by Domenic Paolella alongside other guest musicians. There are chances to meet the artists and learn about their creative paths, and light refreshments will be available. The event is open to the public and fosters a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

Wednesday Night Yoga at Rocky Point

A weekly, all-levels yoga class unfolds outdoors at Rocky Point with open sky and peaceful bay views. Practice takes place on the field to the right of the arch when facing the water, near the end of the old saltwater pool and just before the beach. Beginners are welcome, with options for different levels and an emphasis on linking breath with movement. Bring a yoga mat, a large towel or blanket to place underneath, water, and blocks if you have them. Wear comfortable clothing and consider layers since it can be breezy by the water. Parking is available in a nearby lot that offers the shortest walk to the field, with another larger lot at the opposite end of the park. Some participants like to stay after to chat or even cool off with a quick dip in the bay. Weather updates are posted on the event page. A $10 donation is appreciated, and cash is preferred. No reservation is needed.
