This instructional and exposure clinic is a softball prospect/ID camp for players ages 13 to 18. Athletes will receive coaching and evaluation across offense, defense, pitching, and catching, with skills drills, controlled scrimmages, and other informational sessions. There will also be a general Q&A for players, parents, and coaches. Pre-registration is required, and enrollment is limited.

Children will adopt a plush dog, personalize a dog house for their new companion, and take home an adoption certificate.

Honor the Lion’s Gate energy with a two hour experience that blends guided Yoga Nidra meditation with a fully immersive sound bath led by Kimberly Rose. Rooted in the annual alignment of the Sun in Leo with Sirius, this gathering focuses on intention setting, heart opening, and personal and spiritual growth. Resonant drums, crystal bowls, chimes, and other instruments create vibrations that encourage release of stagnant energy, deepen receptivity, and support intentions for the months ahead. This experience welcomes those seeking clarity, manifestation, courage, or renewal. Kimberly Rose is a reiki master, yoga teacher, and facilitator of women’s circles, attuned to Reiki since 2018, with a 200-hour certification from Our Sacred Space Yoga School completed in 2020, facilitator training through Her Sacred Circle in 2022, and additional study in Yin Yoga with Authentic Yoga Teacher Training in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her approach helps participants recognize and clear internal and external stressors so there is room for what truly serves mind, body, and spirit, honoring both the human and the divine within. Admission is $33, and this may be included with membership in The Sacred Circle.

Horsepower For Hope is a fun community day celebrating classic cars and good vibes. Join for epic rides, food trucks, live music, family-friendly activities, and support for a great cause. There will also be awards including Best in Show, Kid's Choice, Best of Categories, Anything on Wheels (Youth), and the HOPE Award. The event runs as a single afternoon session, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.

Explore the clothing and craft of the 1700s in a three week sewing course that blends fashion history, museum insights, and hands on garment construction. Participants will make a colonial style petticoat and short gown with step by step guidance. A project option tailored for men includes a cravat, an undershirt, and a long vest. Guest expertise comes from Mackenzie Sholtz of Fig Leaf Patterns, together with staff from the Sumter Museum, to deepen the historical context. Registration includes complimentary admission to the Sumter Museum’s Revolutionary High Tea. The fee is $50 for members and $60 for the public, and all proceeds support local history and the arts. Each participant receives two OTS packs, and a booster box is added to the prize pool for every eight players. If the field has 16 or fewer players, prizes are awarded to the top four finishers, with 1st place receiving 40 percent, 2nd 30 percent, and 3rd and 4th 15 percent each. With 17 or more players, prizes are paid out to the top eight, with 1st at 30 percent, 2nd 20 percent, 3rd and 4th 15 percent each, and 5th to 8th 5 percent each. Expect a friendly atmosphere to test decks and sharpen plays alongside the local Yu-Gi-Oh! community.

Experience Solar Superstorms at Dooley Planetarium, a free program narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch that explores the Sun’s high-velocity jets, magnetic field, and interior. Visitors can explore the planetarium before the presentation. Seating is first come, first served, and there is no late seating once the doors have closed because opening them would flood the auditorium with light and disrupt the show.
