    See details

Fierce Mamas facilitates a relaxed brown bag gathering at The MAC for caregivers seeking connection. This communal table invites people to bring a meal alongside lingering tasks or creative projects, whether that means forms to handle, long-paused knitting, a collage inspired by paperwork, or simply a quiet moment. Each session adapts to the group, at times making things, sharing ideas and resources, or working side by side with others who understand the language of caregiving. There is no formal agenda, no pressure to share, and no expectation to have anything figured out. The gathering is free and open to caregivers of individuals facing medical, developmental, mental health, behavioral health, or substance use challenges. It is not a recovery meeting, though it embraces the idea that healing happens in community. The MAC is a community space focused on recovery, connection, and mutual support, and its on-site café offers coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks, with purchases helping to support the venue.
