By giving time, volunteers support two important causes, the fight against breast cancer and the search for treatments or a cure for Ataxia-Telangiectasia. Volunteer efforts also result in a donation to the A-T Children’s Project on behalf of the A-T Volunteer Squad. Expect a lively day with a variety of roles. Opportunities include helping in the village with merchandise, registration, bag check, and the start and finish, or assisting on the course and at its obstacles. After the final participants cross the line, volunteers are invited to experience the MUDGIRL course at no cost, with open obstacles, lots of mud, and room to make it your own run.
Three Palms Action Sports ParkHonor Guard Car Show at Post 618
American Legion CM Joslin Purple Heart Post 618 Honor Guard presents a community car show with classic and modern cars, trucks, and motorcycles, plus music, food, raffles, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and family friendly fun. All vehicle types are welcome to participate. Registration, judging, and an awards ceremony are planned. The entry fee is $30, and all proceeds support the Honor Guard. Awards will recognize Best in Show, paint, interior, hot rod or rat rod, car, truck, lifted or lowered builds, motorcycles, and selections for Kids Choice and Sponsors Choice.
