A refreshed community pet care clinic brings previous low-cost and free offerings together into one convenient drive-thru experience open to everyone. Adults interested in trying it can borrow equipment after signing a waiver, must be 18 or older, and will receive help getting geared up. Youth combat is available for ages 6 to 17 using foam padded weapons, with the possibility that 16 and 17 year olds may be approved to use adult equipment on a case by case basis. Loaner gear is available and there is no cost to participate, but a parent or legal guardian must accompany youth at all times and sign the waiver. Practices are weather dependent and schedules or locations may change, with announcements posted as soon as possible. Their latest track Surfman Cometh channels surf tones with a spaghetti-western flair, created in their longtime Band Room studio with Adam Patterson overseeing the final mix.

Presented by AEP Texas, this family friendly run at Corpus Christi International Airport features a unique course on a runway with scenic views and close encounters with planes, trucks, and other special vehicles. A 1K Kids Fun Run gets things started, followed by an out-and-back 5K open to walkers and runners. All proceeds benefit Wings of Texas, a local nonprofit working to make the Coastal Bend a more inclusive place to live, work, play, and learn. Volunteer details will be shared soon.
