Serving Hope, an outreach of The Source of Hope, offers a community feeding volunteer event at Cornerstone Kitchen. Each month, this effort prepares and shares thousands of meals with neighbors and families in need, made possible through the support of volunteers, sponsors, and donors.

The kids dash welcomes ages 10 and under with a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a medal, and children who prefer to skip the swag may run the dash at no cost. This family friendly gathering welcomes all paces and fitness levels and encourages participants to run their race their way. Youth-based pricing is available for ages 12 and under in the 5k and 10k at $17.

For lovers of the strange, unusual and bizarre, this two day expo at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas gathers hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses focused on all things weird. Explore taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror and Halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls and bones, funeral collectibles and more. All items offered are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Beyond the marketplace, sideshow performers take the stage throughout the day, and classes offer a chance to learn the craft of taxidermy during the expo. The event provides a welcoming space to discover new artists, meet like minded people and connect with a passionate community. It is a completely DIY run show and is the first and original traveling event in the country devoted exclusively to oddities vendors and dark artists. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help expand affordable programming, provide scholarships, strengthen volunteer engagement, and foster meaningful social connections for the next generation of ACEing Autism athletes across Texas. Presented by a company that has entertained audiences across the country since 2004, it delivers a fresh, modern take on the murder mystery experience.

BikeDFW hosts a relaxed, no drop community ride through Downtown Dallas under the full moon, centered on connecting with fellow cyclists, your bike, and the city after dark. The ride returns with the blessing of Liz, who led it for years and helped make it a favorite for many riders. Expect an easygoing, family friendly pace over roughly 8 to 10 miles, with everyone staying together. After the ride, participants can unwind at Pegasus City Brewery. Suggested essentials include a safe, working bike, a helmet, front and rear lights for night riding, water or snacks, money for food and drinks after the ride, and a camera for night photos. Friends are welcome. Plans depend on the weather, since rain or heavy clouds will cancel. Any updates will be shared on BikeDFW social media the day of the ride. This is a BikeDFW led community ride. Organizers have added three brand new options, including one centered on demanding corners and tight turns. Beyond the weekly rides, plans include a track day, a weekend in the Ozarks, and a Sturgis trip, with the organizer continuing on to ride the entire Pacific Coast Highway. Riders on any type of motorcycle are welcome, and the routes stay off highways while prioritizing engaging roads, memorable sights, and lighter traffic.
