Tantra and Chakra Healing - Meditation Techniques and Discourse

2121 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano
    See details

Experience a pathway from sensuality to spirituality in a session focused on Tantra and chakra healing, combining meditation techniques with thoughtful discussion. Presented as an authentic spiritual discipline, Tantra points toward heightened awareness and equilibrium by bringing together apparent opposites such as the feminine and the masculine, light with darkness, fire with water, Ida with Pingala, and the fierce alongside the graceful. The practice encourages freedom of the mind and an expanded consciousness, easing inner divisions that limit our fullest expression. The teachings clarify a common misconception by showing that sexuality is only one dimension, honored as a sacred offering and a meditative communion, where union becomes a means to know the self through another. The tradition draws on a broad range of methods, including sacred imagery, mantra and japa, movement practices like yoga and mudra, advanced breathwork such as pranayama, and more. Saturday morning sessions move step by step through key concepts to help participants integrate these tools into daily life, cultivating deeper connection to being, skillful love, and a more conscious, healthy, and whole way of living. Instruction follows the ancient lineage and preserves its essential teachings. On select Saturdays, alternative workshops may replace this meditation and pricing may vary. Class fee is $20. Monthly memberships are available.

That momentum grew into extensive tours across North America, Europe, and Asia, a dedicated global following, sold-out U.S. runs, and more than half a billion combined video views. In concert, expect crisp horn lines, lush harmonies, and the driving spirit of rock and roll as the band delivers Chicago favorites like 25 or 6 to 4, Make Me Smile, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, Feelin’ Stronger Every Day, Beginnings, Questions 67 & 68, and Hard to Say I’m Sorry / Get Away. The set often reaches beyond Chicago with picks from Earth, Wind & Fire, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Steely Dan, The Carpenters, and other beloved ’70s artists. Envision Through Divine Timing

Breathe - Meditation & Wellness, 4131 Lomo Alto Drive, Dallas · verified Oct 12
    See details

Slow the pace and explore how your life moves in rhythm with the seasons in a two-hour Envision workshop centered on trusting divine timing. With the fall season as a backdrop, you will reflect on what has changed and ripened, what is concluding, and what is beginning to take shape. The experience invites you to notice the present moment and to sense what may be unfolding over time, even amid constant demands to move fast. Guided conversation, insight practices, breathwork, and reflection introduce the image of the cosmic wheel, drawing on Hildegard von Bingen’s view of the human as both microcosm and macrocosm. This lens helps bring your inner life back into relationship with the wider world. The workshop welcomes anyone navigating a full, fast-moving life, including leaders, caregivers, decision-makers, creatives, and parents, as well as those seeking greater presence, steadiness, and discernment. It is especially supportive for people who feel stretched by pace and responsibility or are in a season of transition or change. Ancient Breathwork, a rhythmic approach rooted in long-standing traditions, increases oxygen and supports the body’s natural release processes. Through this practice, participants soften internal bracing that narrows perception, steady the nervous system so attention can settle, widen the ability to notice what is here now, reopen imagination, restore clear and integrated thinking, and support calm, grounded decisions. No prior breathwork experience is required. You will leave with practical insight and a felt understanding of how to slow a moment, notice what becomes visible, and trust the cadence of your life. Time is set aside for integration so you can give language to what the body noticed, gather what felt important, and carry a simple point of focus into the season ahead. Cost: $60.

    Robert Ellis

Sons of Hermann Hall, 3414 Elm St, Dallas · verified Oct 11
    See details

Robert Ellis appears with David Ramirez at Sons of Hermann Hall, presented by Spune. The performance highlights Ellis’s latest album, Yesterday’s News, cut live to tape across two days and built around an intimate mix of nylon‑string guitar, upright bass, and subtle hand percussion. The songs favor rich harmonies, open tunings, and intricate fingerstyle that echo English influences like Nick Drake and Richard Thompson. His delivery evokes the wistful mood of Chet Baker and the lyrical interplay associated with Bill Evans and Jim Hall. Following the high energy of Texas Piano Man, this turn underscores his ongoing habit of reinventing his sound. NPR has recognized his adventurous approach and refined writing, while Rolling Stone has praised his storytelling and the New York Times has highlighted the emotional impact of his songs. Yesterday’s News is his first LP with Niles City Records, connected to the Niles City Sound studio he runs with longtime collaborator Josh Block in Fort Worth.
