A church is hosting a car show with a special welcome for Jeep owners. Those interested in participating can sign up by submitting a flyer, either by dropping it off or mailing it to the church. The organizers note there has not been an official pre-registration before.

A faith-centered mommy and me class at Good Steward Longview TX is designed for families with little ones ages 0 to 2. The pace is gentle and unhurried, creating space to connect through stories, songs, infant massage, sensory play, movement, and meaningful time together. Each family receives a children’s book to keep, and the same story is revisited over several weeks to support early learning, build anticipation, and establish rhythms that carry into home life. The environment offers encouragement, friendship, and community for both first-time mothers and those welcoming another child. The class is led by Stephanie Harris, founder of Cedar & Honey, a licensed massage therapist, certified infant massage instructor, certified birth doula, and certified biblical counselor. Bring a yoga mat or blanket for comfortable floor time. Group size is kept small for personal attention, registration is required, and the cost is $15 per class or $75 for six weeks.

Longview Arboretum and Nature Center hosts live music featuring Sheila And The Caddo Kats in a garden setting. Guests may bring lawn chairs, picnic food, and their own drinks, and relax among the blooms while the band performs. Parking is available at the Maude Cobb Convention Center, with entry through the west gate. If weather conditions require, the concert will move indoors to the Arboretum Event Center. Admission can be purchased at the door or through the arboretum’s website.
