A faith-centered mother and child class designed for little ones from birth to age 2 invites moms to slow the pace and savor this season. In a peaceful, unhurried setting, you and your baby or toddler connect through story time, songs, infant massage, simple sensory exploration, gentle movement, and shared moments that nurture bonding. Each family receives a children’s book to keep, and the group returns to the same story across several weeks. Repetition supports early learning, builds anticipation, and helps establish gentle routines you can carry into home life. Whether welcoming a first baby or adding another to the hive, participants find encouragement, friendship, and a warm community for both mother and child. Sessions are led by Stephanie Harris, Founder of Cedar & Honey, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Certified Birth Doula, and Certified Biblical Counselor. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket for comfortable floor time. Group size is intentionally small for personal attention, space is limited, and registration is required. Cost is $15 per class or $75 for a six week series.

A gentle prenatal movement class focused on preparing the body and mind for labor and birth. Participants explore soothing stretches, birth ball exercises, focused breathing, relaxation, and practical comfort tools designed to ease common pregnancy discomforts, encourage optimal baby positioning, and support a changing body. Instruction is led by Stephanie Harris, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Birth Doula, and Certified Biblical Counselor. As time allows, complimentary KT taping may be available after class to help with low back discomfort, round ligament pain, pelvic discomfort, and belly support. Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Birth balls and other props are provided. Group size is intentionally small for personalized attention, so space is limited and registration is required. Cost is $15 per class or $75 for six weeks.

A church is hosting a car show with a special welcome for Jeep owners. Those interested in participating can sign up by submitting a flyer, either by dropping it off or mailing it to the church. The organizers note there has not been an official pre-registration before.

Masterpieces and Martinis is the LMFA annual gala, an evening focused on art and community that benefits the Longview Museum of Fine Arts.
