Children's Art Class- Doodle Bugs

Young artists ages 5 to 9 can dive into two dimensional materials and beginner drawing skills while getting to know influential artists and major art movements. Each session builds confidence and technique, one playful doodle at a time. The class follows rotating monthly themes that spark creativity across painting, collage, sculpture, and design. Highlights can include an outer space focus with watercolor nebulae using salt effects, marbled night skies dotted with constellations, alien themed posters, and soft pastel planets. An ocean inspired month may bring underwater scenes in paper collage, jellyfish sculptures, shell based creations, and fish made with stamps. A dream filled series might explore cloud paintings, melted media experiments, whimsical face collages, and imaginative cryptid creatures. A blooming theme can feature paper flowers and mobiles, water lilies in the spirit of Monet, still lifes with real florals, and pop up bouquets. A design centered month explores patterns through collage scavenges, building a personal pattern deck, poster layouts, and flip books that grow dot by dot. Monday sessions are offered at a slightly reduced rate. Many teacher work days fall on Mondays, so regular classes may pause at times for school break camps, and the lower price helps balance those missed days.
