Juneteenth Gospel Fest
Presented with Beyond the Walls Outreach at Lucy Kidd-Key Park, this Juneteenth celebration centers on gospel music and worship. The program features singers, musicians, and choirs, along with praise and worship, dance, and mime, bringing people together in a spirit of faith, freedom, and unity to honor Jesus. Related festivities include a community picnic at Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Park.
Lucy Kidd-Key ParkTexoma Tarantulas
Learn why tarantulas are more than their fearsome reputation. A Park Ranger will share insights on these fuzzy, beneficial arachnids, highlighting their unique traits and the important part they play in the ecosystem. Then get hands-on with a simple craft to create a spider friend to take home. The program takes place at the OHV Pavilion. Bring water, and all craft materials are provided. Plans may change due to weather, so dress for current conditions. Participation is included with park admission.

Mt. Moon Collectibles hosts weekly One Piece trading card game sessions with two opportunities to play. Everyone is welcome, whether brand new to the game or highly experienced. Entry is $10, and prizing is a pack for each win. Bring friends, refine your deck, and face off for packs and bragging rights in either session.

Celebrate dad with a sweet campfire experience as a Park Ranger leads a cooking demonstration using a Dutch oven, followed by a chance to sample the finished treat. This program takes place in the Day Use Area. Bring water, and picnic tables will be available. Plans depend on the weather and may be canceled, so dress for the conditions. Participation is included with standard park admission.
